It was a great pleasure to host Dr. Elias Feghali, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering (FE) of Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), in our labs for one week in January 2023. The visit was supported by COST Associationand LignoCOST (COST Action CA17128) via a Short Term Scientific Mission. Dr. Feghali worked together with our group on the synthesis of lignin/bio-based epoxy resins and tested their recyclability compared to petroleum-based epoxies. This research is part of broader collaboration between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) and the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO).
