Participation of Eleni Salonikidou in 1st MEDPore, 17-19 May 2023
Eleni Salonikidou, a PhD student in Prof. Triantafyllidis’ Lab participated in the 1st Mediterranean Conference on Porous Materials, which was held in Rethymno, Crete on 17-19 May 2023. Eleni participated in the conference with an oral presentation, with the title “Utilization of (Bio)waste and Commercial Nanoporous Activated Carbons for the Deep Adsorptive Desulfurization of Diesel Fuel”. She presented various results from her PhD thesis, regarding desulfurization with the use of activated porous carbons.
The work was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPAnEK 2014-2020), under the Action “RESEARCH–CREATE–INNOVATE Β’ CALL” (Project: DESULFUR, code: Τ2ΕΔΚ-01976).
