Our group participated in the Mid-Term Meeting of the H2020 project CELISE: “Sustainable production of Cellulose-based products and additives to be used in SMEs and rural areas” https://celise.unican.es/, which took place at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Warsaw, Poland and On-line, on 24 July 2023.

The contribution of AUTH’s team to CELISE is mainly related to WP1 and WP2 with tasks relevant to lignocellulosic (waste) biomass pretreatment and fractionation, valorization of cellulose and lignin streams, production of pyrolysis oil and biochar, as well as technoeconomical and LCA of the proposed processes, in collaboration with the rest of the European and South American partners.
