Participation of Dr. Antigoni Margellou and PhD student Eleni Psochia in ACS Fall 2023,
13-17 August, San Francisco, California
We are very excited to share Triantafyllidis research group participation in ACS FALL 2023 which took place in San Francisco, California on 12-17 August 2023!
Eleni Psochia, PhD student, gave an oral presentation entitled “Development of nanocellulose-reinforced polymeric adhesives/coatings with nanostructured surfaces”, disseminating results of our nationally funded CELL4GLUE project and of her Ph.D. thesis.
Significant outcomes of the project were also presented by the post-doctoral researcher Dr. Antigoni Margellou, who gave a very interesting talk about the “Isolation of highly crystalline cellulose via combined pretreatment/fractionation and extraction procedures within a biorefinery concept”.
During the conference, we had the opportunity to meet and interact with devoted researchers from all over the world, involved in the fields of green chemistry, polymers and catalysis. Finally, we had the chance to visit and explore the beautiful city of San Francisco, gaining a wonderful experience!!
